About

Vanguard was founded on Frostwolf at the onset of The Burning Crusade, a Horde raiding guild that conquered the early phases during it's active years. After more than a decade of stasis, it has been reclaimed and restored by one of its founders. As of the release of Midnight, Vanguard is rebuilding: a social organization for leveling, questing, finding groups for content. There is much work to be done, and memories to be made. Apply Today.

We are a group focused on social gameplay. Our current mission statement is to foster a community of members who enjoy playing together. Our members enjoy all aspects of the game, but historically we began as a raiding guild. Can we reclaim our glory and uphold the Order's name? Or be entombed in the Halls of history?

How do I join?

Under the Join tab there is a link to our battle.net community, follow that link to get in touch with someone that can invite you (all members have invite privileges). You can also reach out on our discord.

Is there an activity requirement?

After 1 year of inactivity, Centurions and Initiates become Evocati and Recruits are removed for space reasons. Content attendance is optional. Enjoy the game at your own pace. Activity is assessed based on login frequency, not participation.

I used to be in Vanguard years ago, now I'm an Evocatus? What's that all about?

Evocati are an honorary role for legacy members. Message an officer to get restored to a membership role.

What benefits does the guild offer?

The guild is currently in reconstruction mode, but we are still able to offer some perks, with the hope of providing more in the future. Current perks include:

Guild bank access for all roles
Guild bank repairs for all roles

Does it matter what faction or server I play? What does cross-faction and cross-server mean for the guild?

Since Blizzard added cross-faction and cross-server support, the only limitation when playing together is at the world level. Alliance and Horde can now group up for dungeons, raids, and more, but the open world is still separate.

Centurion:: Veteran Member of the Guild Trusted Member

Recruit:: Aspirant to the Guild New Member

Tribunus:: Proxy of the Council Alts of Leadership

Evocatus:: Memento Honorum Memorial role for legacy members

Envoy:: Guest of the Guild Friends and visitors, primarily for Discord

Paramour:: Consort to the Legatus-Regent Partner of the Guild Leader
